This journal is made with 100% recycled bright white paper in 70 lb smooth text weight and 100% Recycled ultra bright white in 100 lb cover. Both papers are exceptionally soft to the touch and accepts nearly any pen without bleeding or showing!

This journal features a splatter-paint-look of Brook the chicken, a mascot of Artisans Cooperative, at center.

Not only is it also acid-free so it is sure to last over time, but it is also eco-friendly. I was ecstatic to find *both* the text weight and the cover weight in certified recycled form, from a location that utilizes a carbon neutral manufacturing and shipping model. It is described as:

Notebook is so awesome!

Bought this (with bookmark) as part of the fundraiser. The notebook is high quality and the splatter on the cover looks so cool. Would definitely buy again!

Cutest notebook

I picked this Co-op fundraiser item because I was drawn to the artistic splatter treatment of the Co-op's chicken mascot on the cover, as well as all the subtle and lovely color choices. It was hard to choose just one. To me the splatter image says creativity and a "just put it out there and see what works" spirit that I'd like to foster in myself. I plan to use it for the creative ideas that I'm always losing because they're on random bits of paper and used envelopes. I appreciate that the maker put so much effort into ensuring that the notebook used recycled paper. That's very important in an era when using paper is usually a choice, not a necessity. Thank you!

Adorable notebook!

I love a new journal and this one is very cute! I'm glad it is supporting the Co-op as well as my addiction to buying journals I will never end up writing in. The cover is heavy and feels like it will withstand the inevitable coffee spill on it. Paper is high quality. Spine is stitched very nicely and it seems like it will hold up well. Shipping was painless - received in the expected amount of time. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up!
