This letterpress print features a block print of my girl Kalamata looking regal (RIP) along with a quote from Kerry Manders' April 2020 NYT article "The Renegades." A great affirmation for any that have challenged or want to challenge the status quo definition of femininity!
It's printed in a black ink on 4x8" piece of paper, each with their own color scheme thanks to me initially using the papers to clean off my printmaking roller. The nature of letterpress lets you see and feel the imprint on the back side (also probably including some ink from the other pages stacked underneath as I was printing!). Each is signed and dated and numbered on the back.
This was hand assembled and printed by me with antique type and one of my hand-carved lino prints at Scale House Print Shop in Hartford, VT on a 1892 Golding Pearl printing press with a limited run of 16. There can be no other *exactly* like these!Extra Information
