(2.5cm tall) Here is a green and happy little earth spirit Shinto Jizo sculpture to help bring some nature and love into your world. He feels full of light, peace, and harmony, wonderful for a kamidana shrine, on a nature table, or just as a friend and guardian to help you feel more connected to yourself and to nature too.
He's made of stoneware clay, fired once, glazed for peace and tranquility, and then raku fired for the beautiful effects of smoke and flame.
Jizo is a Japanese Shinto spirit, a kami who found his way to Japan through Buddhism. He is a guardian of women, children, and travellers; he comforts us through grief and bereavement.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only non-toxic material.
(I am happy to combine postage on all items. Please message me before you order, and I can create a custom listing. Thank you!)
