(6.2cm tall) Here is a gentle earth spirit sculpture. This one embodies the peacefulness of the flow from evening into night, the quiet stillness of darkness and a world that knows how to breathe out and well as in. It is a reminder of nature, of cycles, and of our own need to rest.
It has been fired once, glazed, and then raku fired with natural wood shavings for the amazing effects of smoke and flame.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only non-toxic materials.
