Leaf kami tree elemental raku sculpture

Here is a gentle and innocent leaf kami ceramic statue, the spirit of forest leaves and woodland growth. This one I think feels the weight of the climate crisis and the painful changes our planet faces, and it just wants to help us to remember how to care for this world. It would be beautiful for a Shinto kamidana, altar, or nature table. It's 6.1cm tall.

This leaf kami nature spirit is made of stoneware, glazed in non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the amazing gifts of fire and smoke.

Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only non-toxic materials.
