Little raindrop water elemental kami raku sculpture

(2.1cm tall) Here is another gentle little prayer for rain. This raindrop kami spirit feels full of the delight of much-needed rain when it finally arrives, and full of the balance of just the right amount of rain: no floods, no droughts. I think he can help us to find — and cultivate — both joy and balance in ourselves and in our world.

This tiny raindrop is made of stoneware clay, glazed with non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the beautiful effects of smoke and flame.

Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only non-toxic materials.
