Radish spirit kami raku sculpture

Here is a radish kami, the gentle spirit of a radish plant. She feels full of earth but also blessed with sun and rain; she can help us to connect to our own earthy roots and remember how to hear (and care for) the natural world around us. She's 6.3cm tall.

This radish spirit is made from stoneware clay, glazed with non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the gifts of fire and smoke.

Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with natural materials.
