Raindrop water elemental kami raku sculpture

(3.2cm tall) Here is another little prayer for rain and balance, because goodness knows we need them. This raindrop kami spirit is happy but also peaceful, like he knows when and where rain is needed and when and where it isn't. I hope he can help us to find our own balance and learn to rebalance the world we've upset.

He is made of stoneware clay, fired once, glazed with non-toxic glaze in beautiful blue and a hint of turquoise, and raku fired for the beautiful effects of smoke and flame.

Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only non-toxic material.
