(4.2cm tall) Here is a bright and sunny Jizo to help you on those days when you just need a little help to find the sun. She feels so kind and loving, like she knows it's ok really and wants us to know it too. She feels like she just radiates joy!

This Jizo made of stoneware clay and raku fired for the beautiful effects of smoke and flame.

Jizo is a Japanese Shinto spirit, a kami who found his way to Japan through Buddhism. He is a guardian of women, children, and travellers; he comforts us through grief and bereavement.

Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only non-toxic material.
