Tree spirit and his bird friend raku sculpture

(7.8cm tall) Here is a wonderful and very special tree spirit with a sweet little bird friend. They both feel full of nature and wildness, but love and gentleness too. They would be beautiful in a Shinto shrine, a pagan altar, for shamanism, or on a nature table.

He and his bird friend (who is 1.4cm tall) have been fired once, glazed, and then raku fired with natural wood shavings for the amazing effects of smoke and flame.

Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
