White polar bear nature spirit raku sculpture

Here is a sweet, kind, and magical white spirit bear kami statue. He is full of gentleness and guidance, but he also has enough strength to get through whatever this life places in his path. This one feels to me to be a protector, a guardian, a leader: someone whose wisdom we can follow *if* we're willing to learn and understand.

This little bear sculpture is 3cm tall and 5.7cm long. He's made from stoneware clay and has been fired once, glazed, and then raku fired for the amazing gifts of smoke and flame.

A white bear has been a part of my life for many years (along with kitsune, of course!), and I feel honoured to be able to help their spirits manifest in our world.

Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, gentleness, and spirit to the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
