About
Mossy Bottom Studio was developed by Sarah and Aaron Higdon. They met at Indiana University where Sarah was pursuing a MFA in Sculpture and Aaron was pursuing a BFA in sculpture. After graduating They moved to Houston where they began their design studio. Three years later They moved to Wimberley, Texas where they have been growing and working ever since.

We have a wide range of interests including woodworking, textiles, glass work, metal work, painting. We draw inspiration from both nature and past design, specifically Danish Modern, Art Deco and Arts and Crafts styles. We are interested in simple streamlined design with quality materials and great attention to detail that is of the present but has style that extends to the future. We love working with clients to create custom work that fits their design needs.
