This is a hand-carved block print of one of my newest flock members, Andy. She is very sweet, has a big 'ole comb, and is mostly "blonde" but still has unique feathering so I tried to capture it. I was so pleased this worked out with minimum edits after the test, I went kinda wild with the paper and ink. Each is around 7.5x5.5 inches.
Andy on Purple is a turquoise-blue on purple paper
Andy on Green is a light yellow/teal on dark green paper
Andy in Green is a pastel spring green on white paper
Andy in Blue is a light turquoise on beige mulberry paper
Each is signed, titled, and numbered based on their color combos. I mix my colors so the chances of me making that exact color again are kinda low. Not to mention just due to the nature of block printing, each print is going to look a little different. It’s a unique piece of art!
