The Maple board for this box is highly figured, with the Livos Hard-wax Oil finish bringing out the richness of the grain. The sides are grain matched around the perimeter. The top is Roasted Walnut and Roasted Maple. Dimensions are 32x20x15 cm. The short sides are splayed out by 9 degrees. Closure is by three embedded magnet pairs. The bevelled join line ensures accurate positioning of the top to the box.
The corner joints are CNC machined with a pattern generated by Tails and Fingers, a custom software for producing dovetail joints on a CNC.
