Flying Pig and Picture Jasper Necklace

Links made with various shapes of picture jasper beads flank each side of the flying pig focal pendant of this whimsical Y style necklace. I took care to match as closely as possible the colors and tones of the bead sections across from each other.

The pig with wings pewter charm can swing back and forth in front of the irregularly shaped piece of picture jasper which measures roughly 1 inch at its widest and 1 1/2 inches long. I attached the pendant to the rest of the necklace using an antiqued gold tone three way connector. After matching up four pair of links of picture jasper beads, I linked two groups of four links together with antiqued brass plated jump rings and attached one set to each side of the three way connector. The links measure between 1 and 1 1/4 inches long. I then added double link antiqued brass tone cable chain to the last link on each side and finished the necklace off with a fancy antiqued brass tone hook and eye clasp.

The total length, not including the focal pendant, of this fun bib necklace is 23 1/2 inches. The central pendant hangs about 2 1/2 inches below the line of the necklace.
