Fused Glass Soap Dish

I had some iridescent stringer scraps on hand that I had on hand which I chopped up and incorporated into this soap dish. All of that glass had black and dark blue stringer on clear so I incorporated a checkerboard pattern in the background using Red, Green, and Transparent Blue frit to spice things up a bit. The glass was fused to form a flat blank and then slumped in a special mold to create the dish pictured here. The result turned out better than an I thought it would.
