Hammers grow on trees in bunches of two. We harvest the hammers from hammer trees, cut apart the handles, then straighten the handles using our Extreme Un-Bending Techniques. These are then marketed to hardware stores all over the world. We are actually the only company that harvests natural hammers and goes through all the trouble to straighten the handles out of their stems. Most everyone else just cuts off the natural stems, and puts on handles made from the trunks of trees. This sculpture is your only chance to get hammer heads in their natural state, before they have been brutally removed from their stems and have had their heads put on straight sticks of wood. Most of our hammers are harvested from either the ball peen hammer tree, the claw hammer tree, and the hatchet hammer tree. Some of them are hybrids, and may have a ball peen hammer head on one side and a claw hammer head on the other side. These hybrid trees have been doing very well in urban settings and as shade trees. We do not recommend that you set up a hammock under these trees, or at least not in the fall.
