This started as one of my first forays back into oil painting in a decade. It was just fun and exploratory. I LOVE the 3D nature of oil paint, so when I have a chance to make the paint stick out of the canvas..I take it.
I had this at an art show and a kid ran up and said "this looks like a supernova" and touched one of the swirly blobs of paint and ran off - not sure I know of a better compliment!
This is a 11"x14" (or 14x11 - you decide the orientation!) canvas. There is no attached hanging apparatus, but can be easily hung on a nail via the inside edges.
