- I cast in Concrete, and Paint utilizing UV safe outdoor paints, designed for use on concrete. The freeze and thaw cycle can wear on concrete, as it does the roadways. I recommend bringing your ornamental concrete in for the freeze season. Colors will stay bright longer by displaying in a shaded, or partially shaded area
