Midnight Aurora Web is a handmade beaded spider suncatcher inspired by the shifting colors of the night sky. Deep blues, teal, soft lavender, icy blue, and iridescent glass beads come together to create an oversized sparkling spider suspended above a dramatic cascading chain web.
The spider is individually shaped and wrapped by hand using gold-plated, tarnish-resistant copper wire, with eight long articulated-looking legs covered in an eclectic mix of faceted glass beads. Two large faceted glass beads form the spider’s shimmering body, while elongated glass beads radiating from its center add an extra flash of light.
Below the spider, layers of gold-plated stainless steel chain drape between the legs to create a loose, dimensional spiderweb. Rather than a traditional symmetrical web, the cascading chains give the piece an almost jewelry-like quality—like your window decided it needed its own statement necklace.
A strand of coordinating blue, aqua, purple, and iridescent glass prisms finishes the bottom, including a large faceted drop that catches sunlight and throws sparkling reflections around your space.
Finished with a gold-plated stainless steel hanging chain, loop, and hook, it arrives ready to hang in your favorite sunny window.
