Meet Midnight Prism, a one-of-a-kind beaded spider suncatcher handcrafted with an assortment of black, smoky metallic and rainbow-finish glass beads. From a distance, this oversized spider has a moody, nearly all-black look—but give it some sunlight and those iridescent beads suddenly flash with jewel tones of blue, purple, green, pink and gold.
The spider’s body features bold faceted black and smoky glass prisms, while all eight long, curved legs are individually beaded with a mix of glass bead shapes and finishes. Subtle rainbow-coated accents are scattered throughout, giving the entire spider an oil-slick-like shimmer as the light changes.
Above and below the spider, coordinating black, smoky and rainbow glass prisms continue the design. A large multicolor faceted teardrop prism finishes the bottom, catching direct sunlight and adding another burst of shifting color and sparkle.
Even the hardware gets in on the fun: Midnight Prism hangs from rainbow-plated stainless steel chain, complementing the iridescent beads without taking away from the spider itself.
