The Sea Glass Spider Suncatcher brings together shimmering shades of turquoise, aqua, deep blue and pearly white in one wonderfully whimsical statement piece. Handmade from an eclectic mix of faceted glass beads and crystal prisms, this oversized spider catches the light from nearly every angle.
Eight individually formed legs are covered in a mix of translucent, faceted, frosted and iridescent glass beads, gradually shifting from rich aquatic blues near the spider’s body to soft white and sea-glass tones toward the tips. At the center, two large faceted glass beads create a jewel-like body surrounded by sparkling elongated glass accents.
A coordinating strand of blue, aqua, white and dark glass prisms extends beneath the spider, finishing with a large faceted aqua-blue crystal drop. A matching prism strand above the spider adds even more color and sparkle, creating a long, dramatic window display.
Each spider is shaped and wrapped by hand using silver-plated, tarnish-resistant copper wire and finished with silver-plated stainless steel chain, hanging loop and hook so it’s ready to find its favorite sunny spot.
When direct sunlight hits the faceted glass, the beads and prisms shimmer, glow and scatter tiny flashes of light and color around your space.
