Takuma is a platinum-cure silicone tentacle dildo of the genus Nanaimoteuthis*, an apex predator cephalopod of the late Cretaceous oceans.

With a gently curved profile, Takuma is richly textured with suckers and a backside which rewards every stroke. Takuma's rounded diamond base is compatible with most O-ring harnesses (the mini size is probably too small for a harness, the large could be a tight squeeze...check your harness dimensions and compare first).

Available in four sizes and four firmnesses, we would recommend choosing firmer options for the smaller models, and softer for the larger models, as the perceived firmness depends not just on the silicone used, but also on its thickness. Ultimately the choice is yours.

Firmness:

Extra Soft (00-20): Exceptionally soft and supple, with a barely-there resistance (gel-like). This is the squishiest option we offer, melting into your body and conforming to every curve. Ideal for those who prefer the gentlest contact, diffuse pressure, and a deeply cushioned, comforting feel.

Soft (00-30): Soft and plush, offering a gentle give. Think of it as a squishy, cuddly texture that contours to your touch with minimal resistance.

Medium (00-50): Slightly firmer, offering a balance of support and flexibility. When compared to the "Soft," it's like the difference between a squishy pillow and a firm cushion – still yielding, but with more structure and responsiveness.

Firm (A-10): Maximum structure, with very little give. Where the Medium still yields to pressure, the Firm holds its shape — think of the difference between a firm cushion and a dense rubber eraser. Ideal for those who want strong structural feedback, well-defined texture, and direct, focused pressure.

Materials Used:
At Desert Island Toys, your safety is our top priority. We craft our toys using platinum-cure silicone, a material known for its skin-safety and non-toxicity, with industry certifications to back it up. To colour our silicone, we use only cosmetic-grade mica and certified skin-safe silicone pigments. We are committed to ethical sourcing, and our mica is always procured from suppliers who guarantee that no child labour is involved at any stage of the production process, including mining, processing, and transportation.

Shipping:
Our products are handmade with care in Canada, and we ship from there too. Please note that if you're purchasing from outside Canada, your country may apply additional duties and/or taxes/tariffs on delivery. These charges are beyond our control and are the buyer's responsibility to pay upon receipt.  For Shipments to the USA we are currently tariff exempt under the USMCA free-trade treaty.

Discreet Packaging:
Rest assured, we ship in plain, unmarked cardboard boxes. We aim to keep everything discreet – the return sender will be listed as "DIT" to ensure privacy. No company logos will appear on the outside of the packaging.

For international shipments, we prefer to submit customs declarations electronically, meaning the package will have no description of the contents. If we must attach a physical customs declaration, we'll describe the item as a "Silicone Sculpture" to maintain discretion.
