Orcas are a beloved icon of the Pacific Northwest, especially a group known as the Southern Residents, but their population has been in decline and they are in danger of going extinct. There is ongoing research and a variety of projects underway to address the threats facing these whales – let’s help them make a difference.

This necklace reflects the signature black and white color pattern of orcas, along with the gray-white marking on their backs known as a saddle patch which is unique to each individual, like a fingerprint. Each glass bead is wire-wrapped by hand, truly a labor of love to construct this necklace for these magnificent creatures.
