The blank consists of pink abalone and watch parts embedded in resin which is then turned on the lathe. This pen can be used as a fountain pen or switched to be a rollerball. The hardware is chrome and gold colored.
It comes set up as a fountain pen, which includes an ink cartridge, an ink converter (allows you use ink from a bottle), and cleaning solution (approx. 2 oz). it comes with a rollerball nib and rollerball refill.
It will be setup with the fountain nib on but no ink loaded into the pen.

- The ink converter is used to hold ink, Simply place in the ink bottle and screw to insert ink into the converter. To switch from fountain pen to rollerball: Unscrew the front section (grip) from the nib. Remove the nib with associated ink cartridge or the ink converter. Remove the cover from the rollerball ink refill and place inside the rollerball grip. Place inside the barrel and screw the grip to the barrel. Replace the cap. To switch from rollerball to fountain pen: Unscrew the nib from the barrel. Remove the refill. Select either the ink cartridge or the ink converter cartridge and place in the fountain nib. insert into the barrel and screw the nib into the barrel. Replace the cap.
