Queen Quilt Batik Patchwork Mariner's Compass Stars

Queen geometric batik patchwork quilt - Mariner's Compass Stars is my second foray into paper piecing. All the stars in the quilt are from Carol Doak's book, Mariner's Stars. The fabrics are all bright, beautiful batiks. There are 20 different stars, each is different and has unique quilting designs.
The quilt measures 73 x 90 inches, a good queen size. The piece is backed in a beautiful green and blue batik fabric. It is bound with a bias French double fold binding that is sewn on by machine, then stitched down by hand for a professional, sturdy finish.

Washable in cold water on gentlest cycle using soap, not detergent. Rinse twice. Can be tumble dried on low or laid flat to dry.
