Queen Quilt Blue Batik Star in a Star in a Star

The pattern for this quilt - Batik Mystery is from Quiltmaker magazine, where it was presented over a few month's time as a mystery pattern. All the fabrics I used are batiks, including the backing. I added the pieced piano-key border and the outside border to increase the size of the piece to fit a queen bed. I quilted it on my home machine off the frame. The piece measures 81 by 90 inches, has 80/20 cotton and polyester batting and is quilted in three colors of cotton thread.  The double-fold French binding is attached by machine, then stitched down by hand for a sturdy, professional finish.

Wash in cool water on gentlest cycle of machine using soap, not detergent. Rinse twice and tumble dry on low or lay flat to dry.
