small pottery plate - speckled white ceramic dish

Small pottery plates handmade out of stoneware clay - for olive oil and cracked pepper for dipping bread? For jewelry or as a trinket dish? Maybe a soap dish or sponge rest. Spoon rest or tea bag rest? Even as a tapas plate. Perfect size for a million things. I formed them by hand, fired them, glazed with a single white glaze, and fired again to 2223 F. The glaze is food-safe, and even un-glazed portions are non-porous.

Each is just shy of 4 inches in diameter. The lip rises approx. 0.4 inch above the table it sits on.
