The top is made of opaque streaky white and mint green glass with the with silver AA logo fixed to the center of the lid. White fasted glass was used for the back, and clear pail green glass on the floor complimenting the unique glass lid. Front and sides are clear beveled glass.

This box began with selecting unique patterns within hand blown cathedral glass remains from larger project. In this copper foil project, each piece of glass is wrapped with a thin adhesive backed strip of copper which serves as a base for the solder. Once wrapped, the glass pieces are soldered together. Small brass hinges are soldered to the lid and base of the jewelry box along with a safety chain is added inside the box.
