This is a hand-printed intaglio print of one of my favorite creatures. Throughout history, the Raven has been either seen as a God or the Devil. The truth is they are the most intelligent birds on the planet. Ravens are also the most playful bird species. They slide down snowbanks, apparently for the fun of it. They even engage in games with other species, such as playing catch-me-if-you-can with wolves and dogs. Ravens are known for spectacular acrobatic displays (Dances), such as flying in loops or interlocking talons with each other in flight.
They are also one of only a few species that make their toys. They have been observed breaking off twigs or leaves to play.
