two handle mug for unsteady hands - handmade pottery mug

Handmade pottery mug. Two handles for unsteady hands, arthritic hands, difficulty moving or limited range of motion, or for easily and securely passing the mug from one person to another. The handles themselves are thick and easy to grip, and have a ridge down the length for more traction to prevent the mug turning or slipping in the hand. 

I threw it on the wheel out of a white stoneware clay, shaped pulled and added the handles, let it dry for several weeks, fired it in the kiln, glazed with a single black glaze on the interior and a series of blue glazes on the exterior, and fired it again to 2232F. The glazes are food-safe, and even un-glazed portions are non-porous. I sand the bottoms so they are smooth.

Dimensions: 4.5 inches tall, approx. 6.5 inches wide including both handles, and the mouth opening is approx. 3.5 inches diameter.

The ceramic mug is in stock and ready to ship.
