100% Cormo wool combed top. 4 oz. Micron count of 23 microns. Colorway: Very Berry
The Cormo breed of sheep was developed in Australia in the 1960s by crossing Corriedale rams with superfine Saxon Merino ewes. Their fleece produces wool that is very soft and prized by handspinners, resulting in a next-to-skin soft and bouncy yarn.
This braid of fiber will felt or spin up beautifully, blending together shades of deep blues, purples, mauves, and magenta. Hand dyed by me using professional dyes in my smoke free, pet friendly fiber studio. All photos are taken outside in natural lighting to best capture actual colors; however, please keep in mind that there are differences in how colors display on different device screens.
Care instructions: Hand wash in cold water. Lay flat to dry.
