Vintage-Inspired Faux Pearl Earrings
Both of these sets are made from upcycled glass "pearls" as well as upcycled gold-colored beads, and are on a 14k gold plated hook. Due to the nature of being upcycled materials, I can't say for sure what the beads are made out of, but I would guess glass for the pearls, and most likely glass for the gold-colored beads as well. It's quite likely that some of the beads are vintage, but I have no way to verify this. Due to the nature of being upcycled, some of the beads do have scratches or other marks on them. Personally, I think this adds to the vintage feel, but I'm sure not everyone agrees. The chains are also upcycled parts. I like to take broken jewelry and find new uses for the pieces, and that's what I've done here.
The first set (A) has smaller pearls and is about 3 and 1/2 inches (9cm) long from the top of the hook to the end of the dangling chain part. The circular part is about 1 and 3/4 inches (4.5cm) long. The pearls are an off-white/cream color.
The second set (B) has larger pearls that are a very pale pink and are slightly longer than the other set. 4 inches (10cm) from top to bottom, with the hoop being around 2 inches (5cm) long.
Please note that the model head is smaller than life size, and additionally, the colors are a bit washed out in those photos and not representative of the actual color of the pieces. The other photos are more accurate of the colors.
These earrings were modified from a design that I originally saw at Mansura's Day on YouTube
