This Stave Built Renovo is hand made from white oak wine barrel staves. The hollow tubes are trapezoidal shaped in a design nod to the shape of a barel stave. Each frame is signed and dated under the bottom bracket by Christo Mroz to ensure that this art bike will be recognized in the future as an original work of art by Christo under the brand name Renovo.
This frame is 58cm, size large. If you need a different size, please allow 2 months for me to build the frame for you. Contact christo@renovo.bike with questions.
Renovo wood frames are functional art super bikes. They compare to the most expensive carbon fiber and titanium frames in performace. The Renovo though is more comfortable since wood is a natural dampener of vibration. Expect lots of attention when you are out riding. The most common question is "Is that wood?". We had to have the answer printed on T-shirts... "Yep, it's wood" to cut down on questions.
