The ends of the sand coated tips have been hand dipped with a rubber coating and then COVERED IN SAND to give them the firmest grip ever.
When clamped on a nipple the sand tips make these clips even more uncomfortable than the rubber dipped clothespin nipple clips. MUCH more uncomfortable with the coarse grain sand!
The leather cord loops attached to the end of each clip can be used to quickly snatch these clothespins off at any time, but please do not actually do this to anyone with that sand coated tip clips! The sensation would be like briskly rubbing sandpaper across the nipple. Such action would definitely cause scratches.
These clips are available with three types of tips: Double dipped rubber coating (no sand) for an excellent grip.
RED SAND (see photos) tipped clamps use a finer grain of sand, and the discomfort when placed on a nipple is moderate.
GRAY SAND (see photos) tipped clamps use a more coarse grain of sand for even more discomfort. The gray ones REALLY hurt! I can only keep a grey one on my nipple for a few seconds before I have to remove it. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
