Resin Ocean Island with Gemstone Tree

This resin ocean island with gemstone tree is a great piece of art to display in a beach house or lake house.  It is perfect too for those that like to have a reminder of the seashore nearby. 

This is original and one of a kind.  I poured multiple layers of resin and in each layer you may find different sea creatures or add ins.  There are natural items in this piece like shells, rocks, sand dollars, star fish, and some other decorations that I have picked up in my travels. The sand is from the New Jersey Seashore, collected, prepared, and baked by me.

I especially like the lobster and the fish that are in the water in this piece.  The tree is made using wire and gemstones and wrapped around a large gemstone base that is embedded in the sand which makes up part of the "island". 

I love making these pieces.  I spend a lot of time with it. In this case i worked on it for months.  The blue is a nice bright ocean blue color, giving tropical beach vibes.
